Introducing BookClubbers: And we want YOU to join us!

Not another book club?! So excited to finally unveil something me and Sophie have been working hard to bring to life. It’s launching THIS FEBRUARY and here’s everything you need to know...

If your idea of a good time is getting comfy with a good book, then you’ve come to the right place. Here at Books, Burgers and Backpacks we’ve created the BookClubbers, an online bookish community of like-minded people.

Do I have to pay to join?

Yes and No. We will make our monthly title public, and there will be Twitter chats and Instagram Live events open to all. However, if you subscribe through our Patreon you become an official BookClubber and that comes with certain perks.

Why are you using Patreon?

It is an easy-to-use platform that allows the best interaction with our members. We want to be able to cover our costs of running BookClubbers and our website. Any leftover profit will go straight back into other creative projects and running costs. By supporting us you are giving us the ability to give back on a bigger and better scale.

Where do I get the monthly book from?

That’s up to you! We would encourage you to use independent book shops, but there’s no judgement here. Whether you go for Kindle, or your local supermarket. You do you.

Why don’t you provide the book as part of membership?

We wanted to keep it as simple and as low cost as possible. We also don’t want to be responsible for books lost in the post, or digital copies never arriving.

What will I get, exactly?

There are different tiers, and each one has a different level of access to content, digital assets, perks, etc. This is made clear on the Patreon page. Tier perks may change over time as we develop and refine the process.

Will it be a new release?

Most likely. But we are keen to spotlight books that are old favourites of ours, or deserving of more attention. There are so many books in the world, it’s never too late to find a new favourite in the back catalogue!

You can find out more on our book club page (see navigation bar), as well as checking out our Patreon. We are so excited to welcome you into the BookClubbers community!

Please contact us on socials, or leave a comments below, if you have any more questions.
