Is dining in the castle at Cinderella’s Royal Table worth the $62 price tag?

In a word, yes.

Getting a booking for this beloved restaurant in the heart of Magic Kingdom is a stressful and very time sensitive experience, and a costly one too with the full cost of the meal getting deducted on booking, that I was apprehensive about it being worth the hassle. We snagged a reservation spot on 11am (BST) at 40 days ahead of the beginning of our trip and it was still tough to grab! That whole booking experience was a rather stressful one, but we did manage to get all the big hitters, including Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Both lunch and dinner are 3 course pre fixe meals at $62 per adult and $37, plus tax and gratuity which is charged upon booking, and breakfast is priced at $42per adult and 27 per child, plus tax and gratuity.

We booked the pre fixe 3 course course lunch and you can check out the menu right here.

Out reservation was for 12:35pm and we checked in on the My Disney Experience app 25 minutes before our reservation and headed inside. To our surprise, we came face to face with Cinderella! A little sweaty and starstruck, we chatted with Cinders and had a photo with her before taking a seat downstairs to wait for our table to be ready. We waited around 15 minutes before being called and walking up into the heart of the castle and into Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Cue us getting a little emotional at our perfect seat in the window overlooking Prince Charming’s Carousel and behing given a Magic Star keepsake. We’d honestly already decided it was worth it by this point!

I had: mushroom soup to start and Sarah had the charcuterie board, and then we both had When Will My Life Begin Pasta and The Clock Strikes Twelve dessert. Every single mouthful was utterly delicious, especially the pasta.

Sounds good, right? It tasted even better. And the portions were so huge! The food was gorgeous; beautiful quality, presentation and really generous portions. I couldn’t finish the dessert, even though I very much wanted to!

Our whole experience at Cinderella’s Royal Table was magical. Literally from start to finish and we’d both go back in a heartbeat, maybe to try breakfast or dinner next time. It’s an expensive meal, especially if you’re paying for a family rather than just yourself, but the magic is priceless if you can make it work in your budget or use dining credit for it.

A Cinderella’s Royal Table Round-Up:

  • Service: 5/5

  • Food: 5/5

  • Experience: 5/5

Have you eaten at Cinderella’s Royal Table, or iss it on your Disney bucketlist? Do you prefer breakfast, lunch or dinner in the Castle?
